About MassageChairAdvisor

MassageChairAdvisor is an independent review site. We don't accept sponsorships, showroom partnerships, or free chairs from manufacturers. Our revenue comes from Amazon affiliate commissions when you buy through our links. That arrangement doesn't affect which chairs we recommend or how we rank them.

How We Review Chairs

We maintain a database of 95+ massage chairs with specs, pricing, Amazon ratings, and review counts. Every recommendation goes through the same process: we compare specs head-to-head, cross-reference Amazon reviewer feedback, check Reddit communities for real owner experiences, and verify current pricing before publishing.

Our comparison tables show real numbers. When we say a chair has 36 airbags or a 4.3-star Amazon rating, that data comes from the product listing. We note when specs come from manufacturer claims vs. verified reviews.

About David Paul

David Paul is the analyst behind MassageChairAdvisor. He built the site's chair database, writes the reviews, and maintains the comparison data. His focus is cutting through marketing noise to answer the question most buyers actually have: which chair gives you the most for your budget?

Editorial Standards

  • No medical claims. We say “may help with” not “treats” or “cures.”
  • All pricing is verified against Amazon at time of writing and hedged as subject to change.
  • Amazon reviewer sentiment is attributed: “Amazon reviewers mention...” not “users report.”
  • We cite named sources for statistics (ACA, NIH, AMTA, Grand View Research).
  • Specs we haven't personally tested are labeled “rated” or “listed as.”
